Moved House? Change Your Locks!

Just moved house? Time to change your Locks. If you have recently moved house and you have moved all your possessions into your new home, You should have changed your locks already. Unless you change your locks, You will never know who has keys to your home, especially if it was previously a rental property. Don’t put it off, Do you really want to take that chance? Your insurance probably won’t be valid either.

Get your locks changed today by a Locksmith who is a member of the MLA (Master Locksmiths Association).

This would also be an ideal time to upgrade your locks to a standard acceptable to your Insurance Company. Mortice Locks fitted to external wooden doors should have the Kitemark on the faceplate such as the lock in the picture below:

New build houses will generally have wooden composite doors installed with Multi-Point Locks with Euro Profile Cylinders Installed. S

The cylinder should be a TS007 3* Sold Secure Diamond Grade Cylinder such as the Avocet ABS Range or the Brisant Ultion Range.
